Winemaking Notes: We design this blend to be balanced and approachable; bringing together our Bordeaux red varieties and our Syrah, and they become a wonderful blend almost on their own.  The trick is finding just the right proportions every year.  For the even keeled 2024 Vintage, Syrah takes the lead with decadence, dark fruit, and richness. Cabernet Franc adds vibrancy and delicate complexity.  Cabernet Sauvignon provides the foundation and adds brightness.  Merlot lends freshness and its distinct fruitiness. Malbec brings in its powerful flavors and roundness.  And a tiny dash of Petit Verdot imparts its structure and meaty opulence.  The result is a definitive portrait of the vintage, our site, and our particular style.  It is in many ways our vineyard in a bottle.

Varietal: 32% Syrah, 29% Cabernet Franc, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot

Vinification: 20 months in French oak barrels. 13% new. 35% once filled, 52% neutral.

Technicals: 14.1% ABV, 6.4 g/L TA, 3.76 pH
