The people have always been at the heart of what Dineen Vineyards is about – from generations of family to our winemaking team and incredible vineyard crew. We would not be here without the heart and soul of every person involved.

The Next Generation

In 2022, Pat and Lanie passed ownership and management of Dineen Vineyards to their daughter, Marissa, a true Washington product. She attended both UW and WSU and now leads the business with a focus on sales, marketing, and distribution.

Marissa spent over 15 years living and working in Europe, which gave her access to the great winegrowing regions of the old-world and shaped her palate.

Ultimately the pull of family, friends, and vineyard life — brought her back to Washington, where she now brings her passion, commitment, and values to Dineen Vineyards.

Marissa is the 2025 Auction of Washington Wines "Healthy Land, Healthy Community" Award recipient.

Brian Mackey is one of the most accomplished winemakers in the state with more than 100 wines scoring 90pts plus Brian Mackey makes wines that are site driven, representing the place they are grown, and of the highest quality

Winemaker Brian Mackey

Brian Mackey brings a unique blend of childhood experiences in Napa and Sonoma, teenage summers in Eastern Washington, and global wine travels to his role as Dineen's winemaker. Throughout his diverse career publishing books, building software, creating movies, and making wine, he was always captivated by the idea of producing tangible products that bring joy and benefit to people's lives. Winemaking ultimately became his true calling,

Brian joined Dineen Vineyards in 2025 after 14 years at Chateau Ste. Michelle, including 7 as head red winemaker. Having worked with fruit from across Washington, he chose Dineen Vineyards as the ideal place to apply his experience. As Brian says, "The opportunity to focus on an estate vineyard and craft wines that express the unique qualities of this site is incredibly exciting."

Our Crew

Our employees are our eyes and ears in the field. They are in the vines day in and day out.

Farm Manager Patrick Rawn joined Dineen in 2012. He is an ambassador for the region and is meticulous in what he does. He was instrumental in helping the farm achieve its sustainability certification.

Crew Foreman Eliseo Gil has been with us from day one. He manages our vineyard crew, which ranges from 15-25 people year-round. He and his lovely wife renewed their wedding vows at the vineyard and his three children grew up running around at Dineen.
