Winemaking Notes:   Grenache Blanc is a slightly unsung grape from France and Spain. It is predominantly used in white blends and is widely planted in those regions, but is quite rare in Washington. From a winemaking perspective it is an absolute joy to work with because it can be shaped into different styles of wine. This year we brought together barrel aging, barrel fermenting, and partial malolactic fermentation to create a perfectly balanced final wine that is both rich and bright and both fruity and herbaceous. Few grape varieties can manage to be so many things at once and we are very excited to share it with you this year. The label features one of the many species of sagebrush that grow in The Hills of the Yakima Valley, similar to the shrubbery of the garrigues in Southern France.

Varietal: 100% Grenache Blanc

Vinification: Fermented and aged sur lie for 6 months in neutral French oak

Technicals: 14.7% ABV, TA 5.4 g/L, pH 3.24
