Assemblage: 100% Syrah
Dineen Vineyards-grown Syrah has been on wine-lovers’ radar ever since O-S Winery’s 2006 Dineen Vineyard designated Syrah was selected as one of Washington’s top 100 wines in 2009 by the Seattle Times’ wine columnist, Paul Gregutt.
Harvest Notes:
2010 was marked by an unusually cool summer and delayed ripening. However, consistently warm weather from late September through late October, produced phenolic ripeness and flavor development with extraordinary natural acidity. The overall result was balanced, elegant wines with lower alcohol and higher acidity than in typical years.
