Assemblage: 100% Cabernet Franc from Rose's Block, Clone 214
Elevage: Aged in French oak for 20 months in 50% new and 50% once-used barrels.
Vintage Notes: The 2016 vintage experienced a very warm spring and early onset of summer followed by a temperate fall season. The cooler temperatures in August and September slowed ripening and extended “hang time” to slow the maturity of the grapes. The result was the longest harvest on record in Washington State (mid-August through mid-November). Overall, 2016 saw very favorable growing conditions that produced wines with ripeness. balance and elegance.
