Aging: 24 months in 50% new and 50% once-used French barrels
Vintage Notes: The 2015 vintage was one of the warmest growing seasons on record in Washington. Warm temperatures continued through the spring and summer, moderating slightly into fall and extending what was an early harvest. Overall, the very favorable growing conditions, produced optimal ripening across varieties and yielded outstanding wines.
Tasting Notes: This clear deep garnet wine smells of fresh blueberries, rosemary, chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, black pepper, leather and violets. It is a dry wine with medium that I said it’s easy and has a lot of flavor intensity - Tasting of Red berries, vanilla and some black pepper. This award winning wine is suitable for aging but could also be drunk now.
