Assemblage: 100% Syrah
Dineen Vineyards-grown Syrah has been on wine-lovers’ radar ever since O-S Winery’s 2006 Dineen Vineyard designated Syrah was selected as one of Washington’s top 100 wines in 2009 by the Seattle Times’ wine columnist, Paul Gregutt.
Harvest Notes: The 2009 growing season was ideal with dry, warm weather and lots of sunshine. The season started a week late in blooming, but caught up as the perfect ripening weather lasted through September. The weather was not too hot, which allowed grapes to retain their natural acidity.
