Varietal Composition: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
Aging: Aged in neutral French-oak for 18 months
Vintage Notes: The 2017 growing season was cooler and crop yields were significantly less than the previous two vintages. Lower temperatures delayed ripening and helped to retain fresh fruit aromatics and mouthwatering acidity. Despite cold winter conditions, 2017 gave us concentrated wines with classic Washington State character.
Tasting Notes: This ruby red wine is medium bodied and exhibits the aromas of red fruits including red cherry, blacurrant and some spiciness. On the palate, the wine is dry with flavors of black cherry and an earthy finish.
